Our Wedding

We tied the knot on December 10th 2011 - a ceremony in a simple country chapel followed by a marquee reception on Emma's family farm. You can read all about our wedding preparations and the big day over on Emma's old blog, Cinderella at Brindabella.

Our wedding was based around our love of all things rural and rustic, it reflected our lifestyle and farming roots. We DIY'd almost every detail - from the homemade blueberry and vanilla jam favours for our guests to the lace and kraft paper invitations, the glass jar chandelier over the dance floor and the fencing wire light fixtures. We utilised a lot of family pieces in the decor like Emma's great grandparents furniture.

Hay bales and cowboy boots were the order of the day, guests sipped on champagne punch in personalised bottles and played lawn games during pre-dinner drinks.

It truly was the happiest day of our lives - surrounded by all our loved ones and celebrating the start of a new life together as husband and wife.
